Why spend more on a bottle?

UK wine pricing uncovered...

Taking into consideration the cost of excise duty, VAT, packaging and logistics you get considerably more bang for your buck at a higher price.

Duty currently sits at £2.23 on your average bottle of wine. So when buying a £6.50 bottle of wine in the UK only 50-70p pays for the wine itself - that's the grape growing and winemaking. Considerably less than the £2.48 worth of wine you get with a £10 bottle or the £7.03 with a £25 bottle. At this price point not only do you get better quality for your money when you spend more, but this value rises at a much faster rate with bottle price.

Our winemakers produce small limited quantities of wine. £25-£30 is an optimum retail price point for high quality, authentic artisanal wines.

T's & C's

This monthly rolling subscription sees you receive two, three or six bottles depending on option selected, including a red wine, white wine and or orange/rose wine. Each box arrives with tissue wrapped bottles, including expert tasting notes and access to Sam's educational video every month.

Shipping takes place twice every month, 1st and 3rd week of every month. Eg, signups enrolled 1st-14th of each month will be shipped 3rd week of each month, signups enrolled 15th-31st of each month will be shipped 1st week of following month. This enables us to manage stock and signup requirements.

You can cancel your subscription or choose to skip a box at any time by logging into your account.
