Haute Cot(e) de Fruit is Fabien's lighter, earlier-drinking expression of Malbec. Gentle extraction and a relatively short maturation keep the focus on fruit. Dark berries and a floral lift, with fresh acidity and a supple grip. Cahors made approachable without losing the grape's depth. Serve a little cool with grilled meat, mushrooms or a plate of charcuterie.

Origin
Cahors' higher vineyards sit on clay-limestone ground above the Lot valley. Elevation gives cooler nights than the valley floor. That slower rhythm helps Malbec retain acidity and fragrance alongside its naturally dark fruit.
