British born MW Tim Wildman loves Australian wine. It was the subject of is MW dissertation and in 2010 he established James Busby Travel to take wine trade professionals on educational tours of Australia. During this time he noticed the explosion of pétillant naturel wines in Australia and started his own project five years ago under the Astro Bunny and Heavy Pétting labels.

He works in the Riverland with Mediterranean varietals which suit the hot dry climate there. You can see his MW attention to detail in the winemaking: he's experimented over the years to get the style right; and keeps his wines back over winter, where many other producers release for the Aussie Christmas market, to achieve the texture and depth of flavours he's looking for.
