we're a real fan of all the Valdibella wines we've tried and this is no different. They're a really inspiring cooperative of 10 growers from Sicily. All are organic as a minimum and a look through the list of products they sell highlights the kind of polyculture they espouse. Lots of wild areas in and around the vineyards = lots of 🐦+ 🐝
This is 100% Catarratto Extra Lucido, a mutation of Catarratto with thinner skins. The grapes are destemmed and spend 10 days in skins then 7 months on the fine lees. All in stainless steel and no added SO2.
