Winemaker
Alex Craighead and Josefina Venturino established their vineyard project in Upper Moutere, Nelson. Alex studied wine at Lincoln University and worked in several regions abroad before returning to New Zealand.
They farm their own property organically, growing several varieties on the area's clay soils. Home White comes from this estate-grown fruit, combining Chardonnay and Vermentino.

Home White 2023 brings Chardonnay together with Vermentino.
Subtle orchard fruit with a saline edge and a fine thread of tension through the texture. It has body without needing forceful aromas or oak flavour.
Origin
Upper Moutere lies in Nelson, at the northern end of New Zealand's South Island. Clay soils distinguish these hills from many of the country's gravelly vineyard plains.
