AbstractCitrus, apple, crisp
Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Gros Manseng bring acidity, fruit and texture to this Gascon white.
Winemaker
Zoé and Miguel Maestrojuan worked as farm labourers before buying their own property in the Gers in the 1960s. Vines grew alongside livestock and other crops.
Michel Maestrojuan continues that mixed-farm approach. Organic conversion began in 2017, followed by biodynamic practice in 2021. Seeds from the farm's cereal crops are used as vineyard cover crops, keeping the work in the fields connected to the vines.
Wine
Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Gros Manseng contribute acidity, fruit and texture to the white Entras.
Citrus and green apple, with a lively palate and a clean, dry finish. There is just enough fruit weight to keep the acidity comfortable.
Origin
The Gers' rolling vineyards sit on clay-limestone ground within the Côtes de Gascogne. Atlantic influence brings a cooler rhythm than the Mediterranean coast.
