Mas de Costeplane works its Gard vineyards biodynamically. The estate gives attention to the farm's wider ecology as well as the vines, treating healthy fruit as the result of healthy ground.

Wine
Grenache and Syrah provide the blend for Lou Canoun Rosé. Red berries and a touch of dried herb, with a clean, dry finish. There is enough fruit for a satisfying glass without losing its easy rhythm. Pour with a summer salad, grilled sardines or whatever has just come off the barbecue.

Origin
The Gard vineyards sit between the Mediterranean and the Cévennes on clay-limestone ground. Warm days build fruit, with cooler air arriving from the hills at night. That change of temperature helps keep the rosé fresh rather than broad.
