Francesco De Filippis puts soil health at the centre of Cosimo Maria Masini's biodynamic farming. The estate is understood as a connected agricultural landscape, with vines and olive trees sharing the same ground.

Wine
Sincero combines Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Cherry and darker berry fruit meet a little leaf and spice. The Cabernets lend depth, while Sangiovese keeps the palate moving. An easy wine to bring to dinner, particularly with ragù, roast pork or beans cooked slowly with rosemary.

Origin
San Miniato lies between Florence and Pisa, in a landscape of hills and old marine deposits. The estate occupies a single hill around Villa La Selva. Warm days ripen the fruit, while position and exposure help determine how that warmth is held in the wine.
